Ep. 6: Haircuts for Immunity in next TC

We are still in the Tribal Council with RG saying, "Let's make this Tribal Council more interesting."

Up for grabs: Immunity in the next TC, 100k pesos and Pizza for everybody. The challenge: short-short haircut for female, skinhead haircut for male and removal of Androgenic hairs and facial hairs.

For the males, 6 volunteered to partake in the challenge prompting a fire-making challenge to determine the winner. First up were Jon, Trisza and Buhawi, wherein Jon won. Second group was supposed to be Akihiro and Doc Ferds but Aki backed out. Thus, final match was between Jon and Doc Ferds which Jon still won.

For the females, it was initially Moi who volunteered but Mykah joined in. Later, it was still Moi who won the fire-making challenge.

After the fire-making matches, everybody then partake in eating the pizza reward. The barber arrives and Moi & Jon went thru with their haircuts. After which, RG awarded the immunity bracelets to them. He then bid farewell to the CAs but informs them first that they will be divided into 3 tribes the following day, with Buhawi, Jon and Aira as leaders of said tribes. RG: "It’s been a long night, get your torches and head back. May the good spirits protect you. Boon rak sa."

Back at camp after some time, the emotions starts to sink in, first with Mykah. Elma narrates, “Nung madaling araw, nagising na lang ako. Kasi may umiiyak ditto sa paanan ko. Tapos bumangon ako, sabi ko, sino ito? Si Mykah umiiyak. Kasi nanginginig na pala sa lamig, tapos parang gusto nang mag-back out. Sabi ko, tiisin. Sabi ko hayaan mo na, huwag mo na munang intindihin kasi nandito tayo. Huwag kang mag-back out. Kasi ilang araw pa lang, walang mangyayari sayo, sayang ang pinagpaguran mo.”

Karen: "Kung gusto nyang umuwi, di umuwi sya. Ako, for me ha, sinabi ko sa kanya nung una, huwag ka munang umuwi kung kakayanin mo pa. Eh windang sya eh. Kasi feeling ko sa gutom nya, at saka isa pa, kung talagang marami siyang rashes eh kung di na nya kaya eh di umuwi na sya. Di ba at least naman me bubble gang sya, tatrabaho sya, aircon, ganun." (Sourgraping ba at wala na syang projects =))

Elma also cried after a while when Mykah mentioned that she is doing it (joining Survivor) for her family. “Nung binanggit nya ang pamilya ay parang na-touch ako,” says Elma. Buwi came and comforted Mykah who stated, “Pag dumaan ka sa hirap, gagawin mo lahat para sa pamilya mo.” Buwi was affected by this and later on, as he is preparing to re-ignite the campfire, Doc Ferds noticed that Buwi is crying as well. Says Buwi, "Naging emotional din ako dahil nahihirapan lang. Dala ng hirap lang. Kung ano man yung rason nila kung bakit sila umiyak, nadala rin sa akin yung tunog ng pag-iyak nila sa akin, sa feeling ko, I feel myself on that moment. Feeling ko ako yung nagpi-fail sa sarili ko, sa pamilya ko, sa tribe..” Chaos inside me.. chaos.

DAY 4

Morning came, the tribe decided to eat 1 chicken. Says Jon, “Kasi may 4 chickens kami. Pero nasa isip namin, kung i-divide namin yung team into 3 teams, we should just eat 1 chicken.” Karen, for her part and because of her choice, does not want to eat the chicken. Explains Karen: “Pescetarian ako, so hindi ako kumakain ng manok.. choice ko to ha, choice ko. So hindi ako mag-iintake ng baboy kasi kinakain nya darak. Hindi ko kakainin yun. Sa Maynila naman kasi ang mga chickens eh kinakain ay pellets. So kakain ba ako ng pellets na ano.. hindi!” Aki came to the group later bringing with him some “seafoods” to her delight. “Nagdasal ako ako. Sabi ko Lord, ako lang hindi kakain sa lahat. Buko lang kakainin ko at tubig. So kung pupwede ahmm.. gumawa kayo ng miracle, kung ano man. Wala pang limang minuto dumating si Akihiro Sato, may dalang crabs,” narrates Gina, este Karen. (So, what’s with the Mcdo commercial?? That’s beef gurl!!!)

Trisza parang frustrated na.. Bakla talaga sya. After the meal, Trisza requested Aira to make her some clothes (panty per Trisza) which Aira gladly do so. Later on and to kill boredom, the female CAs decided to ramp like models to the amusements of their male counterparts (Note: Doc Ferds and Aki are not with the group). Trisza gives the introductions, some of which are:

> “Ang bagong buhok, ang bagong Pilipino, Moi-moi” (stated like noynoy)
> “And of course, one of the beautiful faces of GMA7, the sexy, please welcome, Ms. Michelle”
> “Ladies and gentleman, please welcome, myself..” while Karen shouted “Uwian na, uwian na, ayoko ko na..” and the male CAs pretended they ‘ve gone to sleep.
> “Our next girl is a former wild tamaraw..” to which Mykah stated, “Kung papatulan ko si Trisza, wala..”
> “Our next candidate is an endorser of (Mcdo) and now loves ___..” to which Karen said, “ay ako na ba yun?”

That “slip of the tongue” (anybody catch that?) displeases Karen but she chose to be quiet about it rather than confront Trisza. Says Karen, "Mamaya na. Ngayon pa kayo eepal ang daming camera ". Trizsa concurred, "Ok lang, mamaya."

Meanwhile, Aki and Doc Ferds went around and got some coconuts for the group to drink and ate. Aki takes up the moment to strike an alliance with Doc Ferds. Says Aki, “Dati, in the other season, you can like if you’re the leader someone have to pick you like the leader. Then you pick, you pick me.”

When they arrived to the group, Aki invited them to go “take a bath”. Along the way, Ervic strikes up an alliance with Mico while Aubrey relates some alliance strategy during her interview.

“Ako ang nasa gitna eh. Etong dalawa, feeling ko si Aira at si Karen may something na ito eh. Si Trisza di ko alam, etong dalawa meron. So yung dalawang ito puwede nila akong hatakin, or si Ervic. So nasa gitna ako, dapat pahalagahan nila ako dahil ako yung puwedeng mag dito or dito. I'm still trying my charm sa mga boys, let’s see kung nagwo-work talaga yung charm."
