EPI 14: Survivors, Lumalalim na Ang Gabi

NAGAR: Not Happy Campers. Jon, Michelle, and Ian were still fuming mad because Moi gave away some of their extra "pawid" and rope. As the argument dragged on, other stuff like Ahron and Moi getting too much rice during the feast also became an issue. The faction between Moi and Ahron versus Jon, Michelle, and Ian became very apparent. The argument was resolved when Ahron gave a sarcastic apology to Jon.

SAR MAYEE: Underestimated. Aki spills the beans about his conversation with Michelle from Nagar. Michelle told Aki not to trust his tribemates. This ired Sar Mayee because: 1) Nagar thinks they will continue to win the the challenges 2) so Aki should be careful if he would be the next to be voted off since Sar Mayee will not win any of the challenges.

MAGAN: Maykah's Darkest Hour. Magan was without fire but a lot of mosquito bites. But this was nothing compared to what was to come. Maykah's condition turned from bad to worst. Chills settled in and her body was obviously shutting down. Doc Rueben Apostol was the assigned doctor for the camp and readily diagnosed Maykah. Doc continually asked Maykah not to fall asleep as she might totally pass out and her body may just shut down completely.

RG then spieled about what we already knew about what was happening to Maykah. Anyway, the consensus was that the SP Emergency Medical and Rescue Team have a medical evacuation and bring Maykah to the hospital. She had a piggyback ride. Then she decided to walk. Eventually they had to lay her down on a stretcher but this just tempted Maykah to fall asleep.

In the hospital, Doc Ryan Collantes updated us that Maykah suffered from dehydration then hypothermia. If she was not admitted to the hospital, she would have totally passed out and complicated her condition. Maykah wasn't worried about her condition. She was more worried that she couldn't contribute to the tribe as long as she was in the hospital. Rewinding a bit, most of her tribemates felt it was best that Maykah was sent to the hospital because the tribe was weak and they still had to make extra effort to take care of Maykah.

"Captive" Castaway. A new day begins. With all the fighting about the angus beef and rice and Michelle regaining her invaluable top, we forgot about the "biggest" reward that Nagar got: another scroll. Personally, I thought the Nagar men freaked out when Moi was dangling a pair of shackles in front of them. Too freaky? Anyway, the scroll cleared the air explaining Nagar will get an extra member by capturing a CA from Sar Mayee.

Though Nagar deliberated on who they would abduct, they knew that they wouldn't want Trizsa or Karen for obvious reasons. They began targeting Aubrey since they would vote her out anyway by losing the next immunity challenge.

At Sar Mayee they had the surprise of their lives with a tree mail instructing them to get their strongest member to the beach and get a reward. They first thought of picking Aki but realized he was too weak because of the previous challenge. They assigned Ervic to go probably because it gives him something to do instead of sleeping during work hours. Hapontukin kasi.

Ervic went to the beach and is surprised that there was nothing in a small bowl. When Jon and Ian came to "capture" him he was a willing victim because Nagar had a better shelter then what he had in Sar Mayee. He was later made aware that he was now part of Nagar to which he commented "Ok lang." I think he was hiding his jubilation that he and Ahron would be back together again. Do I smell bromance?

Jon hoped that Ian can persuade Ervic now that Aubrey for the time being couldn't use her flirting powers to control him. Alas, Moi and Ahron were already firming up an alliance with Ervic. I think the John and Jace bromance from season 1 is back with the pairing up of Ervic and Ahron. Yay!

TC is up tomorrow. RG brings up the loss of Doc Ferds. Miko feels that it was a big loss. No word on Maykah's return or exit from the game though we did see an interview after she was hospitalized.
