Epi.9: Gutoooom!!

by Kapitan Bok

It could have been a laid back episode after the reward challenge kicked off yesterday, but surprisingly the inconvenient camp life drove the Celebs-turned- Castaways crazy.

The Pretty Trizsa finds himself feeling uglier each day in the island as he reaches his "breaking point", gets emotional, and wants to call it quits.

But let us go back to where the whining started: (Thanks to Bunsoy for the filler)

After the reward challenge, the three tribes went back to their camp. Michelle from Nagar tribe was surprised to see their camp since she has been away in the Isla Misteryo. She narrated the changes in their camp like the firepit, the bench, and their shelter. She was also asked by her tribemates if what’s in the Isla Misteryo. Despite of what Michelle found out, she keep it to herself about the gold coins from the island. She secretly hid the seven coins for future use. In opposite to Michelle, Akihiro excitedly showed the gold coins. His tribemates was so amazed and decided to keep the coins for future use. Aira kept the coins for safety. (But Ervic and Aubrey went skeptical). Akihiro settled himself to form an alliance with Ervic and Aubrey.

Tree Mail.

"May bisitang dadalaw sa inyong tribo para maghandog ng ilang regalo.Pero ang mayor lamang ang makikinabang dito. Pero pwede siyang hingan ng biyaya, pumayag lamang sa kanyang ipapagawa."

Here comes another activity that will purposely tickle the CA’s instincts. Of course, the Mayor will enjoy a sumptuous meal (from sandwich and peanut butter, to fruits for breakfast; to curry for lunch; to leche flan for siesta and ending it all up by a mouthwatering roasted chicken for dinner) . However, the tribe leader (they keep on saying Mayor) have the option to share it to his tribe mates in exchange of his wishes. The next food servings were unannounced.

If you are fond of the typical boss/ganglords and alipin set up in our local movies, you can picture these scenarios:

Nagar: Mayor Jon doesn’t put his heart on to it. As much as he confessed that he hated the feast, he seemed to enjoy it, initially picking Michelle. But the helicopter exhibition wasn’t her girlfriend’s favorite. The peanut butter and fruits went to Ian instead. Aaron shared a half joke in exchange for the curry. Michelle dived in the leche flan finally. Moi made numerous jumps before she savored the sarap-to-the-bones roasted chicken. (Oh well, the yaya who’s accustomed to eat last, get the big meal! Lucky Yaya! )

Magan: Buwi”s “fair“quizbee benefited Mico to munch the sandwich (and what’s with the helicopters in this season?), while Elma lured for the chicken curry. Doc Ferdz, must first eat his pride before the leche flan. However, he again complained about Buwi’s chicken offering to Myka. All except Myka went under the table discussions about the existing alliances that Buwi is aware of. Mico is willing to follow Buwi’s lead. Elma laid their chances of losing the succeeding challenges. Doc Ferdz was convinced about the clean-cut alliance. Later after the feast , Buwi approached the lone myka in the beach and dropped the question to her of whether she want to stay longer. Myka retracted with anguish giving emphasis that yes, she yearns to be with her tribe mates more than to be at home.

Sar Mayee: I made this last since I’m wondering how far their appetite went--because prior to visitor’s arrival, the Pretty Trizsa did the unpretty. Tribemates went mad after learning about their dearest sleeping beauty-turned-ugly left his poop near the water source. While the flies swarmed liberally on it, Karen , Aubrey , and Akihiro were totally disgusted that even Karen almost blurted foul words in front of her tribemates. Aira arrived, her 19 seashells/crabs were no longer a good news. She then confronted Trizsa. The Pretty then admitted (have I seen a proud face here?). No apologies heard. Yet, he confessed that his poop drop was intentional. After all.

Karen: (Confessed disgustingly) Yuccckkkk talaga! Eto a..Im sorry.. Nakakadiri siya, Im sorry talaga….Poor ang hygene dito eh. Alam naman natin lahat yan di ba. Walang ligo, walang toothbrush. Nothing. Pero! My gaaaawd naman!

Aira’s share: Karen for the breakfast; Akihiro’s jokes over lunch ( Flashback: Suzuki’s classic antics during season 2); It was not shown who shared with Aira for the leche flan and chicken, but one thing was for sure. Trizsa was deprived of a decent meal ‘tis time, as Aira explained that she must give priority to those who are sharing their efforts in the camp. Too bad for Trisza, sleeping wasn’t included in Mayora’s list.

No more surprises about Trizsa’s quitting the game, since we heard the word Gutom once again. The pretty doesn’t wear his usual tube blouse. He was in tears while explaining how he’s starving. He looked like Princess Snell . He sounded like Princess Snell. And while their resident psychologist’s popularity is gradually increasing , Trizsa’s stories of agonies, wet undies , wet shelter , empty stomach topped with the recent food deprivation may conclude that he is indeed be going home.

And if he does, will the Magan Tribal Council push through?
