Nobody said SP was for the weak of heart. Bulan literally "bulldozed" their way to their second consecutive win. John and Arnold lead the charge for Bulan as they once again showed their physical dominance and one would say aggressive offense style attributed to the rough playing in the sport of Rugby.

But before we go any further, lets have a quick review of the previous episode. Tala was given major tv time, but it was Mama Bel (Maria Isabel Lopez), previously from Bulan and now with Tala, who had the spotlight. In a nut shell, Mama Bel also showed her mental dominance to her new tribe, Tala. She was spinning so many tales that it caused a "minor paranoia" in the tribe. The most logical explanation was that Mama Bel took the temptation reward and has an immunity bracelet. But there was no way to confirm that there was an immunity bracelet (insert Swiper, from Dora the Explorer, moment when Tala rummage thorugh Mama bel's bag). Good thinking for Mama Bel to hide the bracelet near the family jewels. It also helped that SP kept blurring Mama Bel's underwear so maybe that kept Tala from seeing the bracelet. Hmmmm...

Tala was so wary of Mama Bel's story of tribal shuffle that it kept the tribemates strategizing till the wee hours of the night. Mothers do really have the best bed time stories.

Of course there was just a scene in Bulan where Steff admited she can back stab anyone. So for those who don't like her, just stick to your FB. On a personal note, try to avoid twitter if you don't want to be in the middle of a blood bath.

Back to the current episode. For those who haven't seen a rugby match, John and Arnold's playing style may look like a scene from a WWE (wrestling) episode. But rugby is a totally physical contact sport without the safety of protective gear you see in American football. They may not hack someone with a paddle or roll over a huge wooden ball over you in a daily basis, but they are used to the pushing, pulling, shoving, and pinning down to/from their opponents.

Though Tala lost badly, the play of the day goes to Betong who took down John during the first round of the "Bola-Bola" challenge or what one can dub as the "Stay-out-of-the-way-or-you-may-get-hurt" challenge. Betong even proudly flexed his arms. Dude, those are weapons of mass destruction. KC and Mara get second place for holding their ground.

OMG! Carlo had two scary moments. Props go to Carlo for keeping his cool. One would wonder if it was Chuckie in the receiving end of those beatings. So far, the episodes were never lacking in drama. Angeli and Jackie made sure the Volcano boys got an earful from them.

Stef was obviously in some great pain to even compete but changing the format from 3 versus 3 girls to 2 boys and 1 girl per tribe was a huge advantage for Bulan. The all girl fight would not only have been entertaining but looked liked equally matched.

All in all, Bulan was the stronger team in this challenge. John and Arnold were the aggressive offensive machines. Mara and KC were the defensive specialists. Gino had a good all around game. Steff, well had second degree burns but did compete in the first round so everyone did contribute for the win.

On Monday, we will be witnessing one of the most heated tribal councils that even the host reached a boiling point. But I would like to see the game play that would unfold. Tala wanted Mama Bel out but are not sure if she has immunity. Cannibalism comes early to a tribe who thought they were united. Alliances will be formed to oust the weaker pair. But Tala may gamble that Mama Bell won't be pulling out anything inside her shorts and unanimously vote her off. Mama Bel with immunity in one hand can opt to take out the strongest pair (Arthur and Carlo) or stick to her principle of voting off the most useless and brainless (not sure who). After Mama Bel casts her vote, she can utter the famous line of Boy Pick Up: BOOM! In any case, one can say Betong and Mae would be safe in this situation.

It will be a drama filled Monday. Most interesting to see if someone actually quit and when Richard launches some F bombs. Whatever happens, its gonna be one explosive night.
