Right after the Immunity Challenge, Jon & Aki were made to bid farewell to the Castaways. The two were reluctant and would have joined midway in a heartbeat. Jon is now hoping for all-stars season that he can join in so he can get back at Aki for the day’s loss. At this point, let me make a personal plea...
PARANG AWA NIYO NA! TIGILAN NA MUNA ANG CELEB EDITION AT AYUSIN NAMAN ANG PAGPILI NG SUSUNOD NA CASTAWAYS! ANUBEH!
Now that it’s out of my chest, let’s move along...
Winning the IC was not the intention of Bulan’s royalty but Gino tried to make lemonade out of the lemon of victory. He knew Arthur was loyal to Carlo so he’d sown some seeds of doubt by claiming he won the game as a favour to Carlo. He used the same story on Betong, only this time saying he wanted to keep him safe. Betong & Gino knew each other even before the game and Mr. Amazing proclaimed that he was no threat Gino. It remains to be seen whether Gino will be successful with this. Betong remained on edge, wondering if Arthur’s loyalty to Tala is still solid since he seemed to be spending more time with the ruling class. Was his Amboy twang not good enough? I guess his humour charm wasn’t working as well as Maey’s.
KC was trying his hand at fishing when one fool of a shrimp decided to munch on his leg. In retaliation, it was decapitated and used as bait. For a while I thought KC would swallow it whole, like an ebi sashimi minus the wasabi. He did catch a fish but it was good for only 3 bites, so he decided to keep it as a pet and named it ISDABEL GRANADA. He probably missed the chickens that were, by now, in poultry heaven.
Despite the spectre of the Tribal Council looming over their heads, Tala managed to relax by the beach. Meay continued her humorous seduction of Arn-Arn. He already gained the trust of Carlo, so Maey is next on his list. What’s a couple of groping here and there, eh? He was even tickled in places hardly ventured by others. That meant the sole of the feet, you pervs!
Regardless of the bonding time, a vote needed to be cast. Stef was the obvious target. Not only will her ouster even out the original Tala-Bulan numbers, she of the three original Bulan was the one who had the least social time with the others and that is a significant factor. Arnold kept asking her how much she wanted to stay on and told her she needed to step up her game, challenge-wise. He compared her efforts with Maey, who may not be the best physical player, but she had heart and really gives her all during challenges. If not Stef, Meay was the secondary target, enough to worry her. Chuckie assured her of her safety. Stef tried going under the radar, and then presented her tribe mates with friendship bracelets as a guilt trip. Arnold told Carlo of Stef’s request to be given a fair chance to defend herself. That meant a tie-breaker challenge. Will Carlo, Chuck & Maey go along with that?
I smell a blindside, not just for Tala....
