This is the most un-Survivor-ish of the challenges. I hope this is the last of the “performance” competition for this season.
Two tribes, two performances, two judges and a whole bunch of kiddies, ecstatic by the fact that they get to spend an evening not doing homework and see a bunch of “artistas” performing right in front of them.
Tala was the first up. Ruffa was smiling throughout, Annabel just had her poker face on. Bulan came next. Ruffa didn’t smile as often, and I don’t remember her Mama’s reaction. They had scorecards but before it was tabulated, Retzard approached the two to ask each which tribe they wanted to win. The two lady judges were at odds and even began arguing. When the score was tallied, Bulan won by a wide margin. However, from the way it was broadcast, it appeared as though Tala had the better “production” value. Maybe it was those perky Volcano tushies (in addition to KC’s & Gino’s) that clinched the win for Bulan. It remains to be seen if a protest action will be launched to disqualify Bulan on technical grounds. One of the conditions was that the word “Survivor” must be recited 10 times. Bulan only managed 9.
Anyhoo, moving on....
