At the Matsing tribe, Russel thanks his tribe mates for not voting him out. This time Russel plans to change his game plan and step back and let his tribe mates "rise and fall on their own decisions." That way, he would no longer be on the chopping block.
Night comes and it's raining (of course it will rain even when it's summer, they're in the Philippines!) and it's already taking a toll on most of the castaways. But it appears that two members of the Matsing tribe find a very valid reason to cuddle all night long - Angie and Malcolm. For Angie, there's really nothing going on between them and it's just another warm body. While for Malcolm, even if he swears he wouldn't be "bootie blinded" he admits that a good looking girl, a former beauty queen at that, to cuddle with is not so bad. However, Roxy, the church girl, is not too fond of seeing the cuddly couple - calling it Angie's "booby trap" and Malcolm readily falls for it. (Can't blame the dude, really.) Well, Roxy thinks that having a couple in a tribe is dangerous and one must go, which is Angie.
Also Day 4 at the Tandang tribe, RC checks if the rice is already getting moldy for all the rain. She doesn't find molds but the "under your nose" clue for the hidden immunity idol . RC manages to be discreet about finding the clue to former teen star Lisa, but Abi Maria catches her. RC readily shares the information to her Brazilian ally. However, Abi later snaps at RC on suspicion that the latter has another secret alliance with Mike. RC tells her that she has never lied to her since day 1 and Mike is like her father to her. After Abi's sudden change of tone, RC swears that the Brazilian bombshell could easily go in a snap.
At the Kalabaw tribe, Jeff is trying to take care of his knee so he could help his tribe win. Except for Jonathan, the rest of the tribe tries to play an in-camp game making him frustrated. Jonathan's goal is to find the immunity idol after getting the clue where it's hidden. But as luck would have it, everybody else transfers to a cave to start a fire and dry themselves up. Jonathan desperately searches the camp for the idol to no avail. Dawson returns to camp and asks him what he is looking for. He told her that he lost his lens which was washed out from his eye. It appears that Dawson bought his "ridiculous lie". Jonathan continues his search and realizes that the clue says the idol is "under your nose" - and what was under his nose while reading the clue is the rice box and on its lid is an emblem that is a wooden head of bull with a very prominent nose. (Smart thinking, man). And Jonathan finally succeeds in finding the idol - at his third season.
